Today I’m going to help you guys find your perfect aspect ratio and resolution for your monitor in CS:GO. We will cover our native 16:9 aspect ratio as well as stretched and black bars in 4:3 and 16:10. The same principles also apply for 21:9 and 5:4, if you desire to use those aspect ratios.
How to set up 1440×1080 (or any other custom resolution):

I recommend to every new player to stay at native, only go lower if u got fps problems, on 4:3 stretched ur enemies are thiccer, but move faster, and through stretching your spray pattern gets bigger as well, I played all and I prefer 16:9 now just because the game looks better, shots feel cleaner etc…
Strech or black bars?
started to play with 4:3 because I had a bad monitor, but when I bough a new monitor 16:9
I have a 1366×768 monitor
I have a 1366×768 monitor
Im on 4:3 with 640 by 480 streched no black bars 🙂
My friends, ı want to consult about a topic. Models move in normal speed at 16: 9 at resolution in cs go game. When we make a 4: 3 stretched screen, the models expand a lot and start moving too fast. So is the situation at 16:10 stretched screen resolution the same? So when we play widescreen at 16:10 resolution, do the models move at the same speed as 4: 3 or move a little slower than 4: 3 resolution? does anyone know?
16:9 is default
4:3 is normal
:/
i am playin on 1080×1080 16:10
i use 3820×2160 16:9
Strech or black bars which one?
I used to play with 16:9 and sometimes do because I like to tab out all the time but when I'm actually trying to win seriously then I normally play with 16:10. I used to play with 4:3 but I like the higher resolution 16:10 gives me but I also like slightly wider player models as I find them easier to hit
How to apply 4:3 stretch in my game black bars appear how to stretch it please help
I used 4:3 stretched since a long time because I had a really bad PC.
I still use it so I'm better off with 4:3 stretched 🙂
4 : 3 streched= 40 fps avg
16 : 9= 100 fps avg wtf???
Resolution it's a personal preference. I've been playing on 4:3 stretched last 5 years.
Scheinst ja auch deutsch zu sein
My monitor is 1280×1024
My native resolution is 16:10 …
Ns video thanks <3
I play in 16:9 4K and I was thinking of trying 4:3 and 16:10 stretched
4:3 streched which resolution is that?
I use the streched
Because i can use 75hz,
Hey, ik this a very old video but i came across it as i was looking up a decent resolution for my tv. U see im into oldschool emulation, i have been emulating the sega dreamcast using retroarch. However the resolution settings on the emulator are in 4:3 format and i play on a 16:9 panel. I switch the aspect ration to 16:9 so it " fits to screen" but the image is blurry and im not sure what a good 4:3 resolution would be to mimic 1080p on a 16:9 or come close to it in clarity.
I've had 4:3 stretched in CSGO for years.
Valorant came out just now, and I want to play both games, so I'm considering switching to native 16:9 in CS for it to be the same in both games.
Native res hurts my eyes in CS after 5 min and I loved 4:3 stretched, but it might be worth it long term.
I'm torn… :/
My native resolution is 4:3 bruh
I have a 1366×768 monitor. What res can i use as substitute to those in the video?
I have 16:9 is it good?
Just switched to 16:10 today and I love it.
